A smart boutique with a modern aesthetic and a nose for what’s fresh without being trendy, Autour du Monde is an unmissable design destination in the Marais. Founded by Serge Bensimon, the two-level shop has a changing selection of globally sourced tableware, decorative objects, furniture, bedding, rugs, lighting, and more. The upstairs has high ceilings and exposed beams, and there's a bed in the vaulted basement that is set according to the seasons. There’s something here for every budget, and lots of complimentary inspiration. If only the help did not run so hot and cold. But like a restaurant with great food and unreliable service, we keep going back.
